[Julius holds onto her hand.]

[Sadly, he saw right through it.]

[ Just as well. He feels like the only person she can be honest with. ]

I don't know. I.... I'm not sure, really. [ It's about the network, if it wasn't obvious. ] I guess... i just don't fare well with dissent when... we're supposed to be working together.

I see. That is quite a conundrum. Pull yourself together, Reika.

Being so sullen doesn't suit you well, in my opinion. [He's used to seeing her as a proud leader, though being unsure is understandable also.]

We'll figure it out. I know we will.

[ She's not really sullen, just... sad.

After a few moments she gets up from her hair and hugs him without a word. ]

[It's fine. He hugs her back in a way that she's familiar with by now.]

I'll make you some tea. That'll help you relax, won't it?

Is green tea acceptable?

[ He's warm and it's reassuring as always when he's fully lucid. Though she doesn't say anything, still burying her face in his shirt. ]

I just... wanna go home....

[ The more she stays, the more it feels like she's not that useful or needed. ]

[If she gives up then it's all over. Wanting to go home is understandable though. Too bad they can't return so easily.]

[ It's true. If she loses hope then so will he. It's not that easy.

She makes a quiet sound of acknowledgement, but nothing more; still clinging to him. ]

[ He can just stroke her back gently until she settles down. Being comforting isn't exactly his forte, but he's trying.

[ After a long while her grip slackens and she shifts away slightly. It's not hard to see tear tracks on her face and how it's stained his shirt. ]

[He shakes his head slowly , Julius won't leave her if he can help it. She needs his support.]

[ She's rarely cried in the presence of another person, but now that they're not in field duty anymore, it's hard to get alone time. Julius was always there, and she couldn't cry in the presence of other members when they took her out for visiting some of the places on Terra Felis.

It was bound to happen eventually, she supposes. ]

[ She sniffs a little. ]

Tea would be good, if you can.

[Sure, no problem. Julius prepares the hot water and tea kettle for her.]

Sleep early today.

[That's not a suggestion...he really does want her to rest.]

[ She's tired even though all she's done is sleep and read books. Maybe she should have invested in a music player. ]

Come sit next to me?

[ Moving to the sofa gives enough space for both of them. ]

[He doesn't say anything. Quietly he moves over at her own request.

All Julius can really do is hold her hand and hope it helps.]

[ She slips her arms around him when he comes over. It's a little awkward, but it works.

Being close to him calms her somewhat. ]

[He doesn't say much when they're together this way. Reika will calm down soon enough.

She's strong, he believes in her.]

[ He's just sort of... sitting there. ]

... Julius?

[Julius looks up at her, completely attentive.]

Do you need something?

[Is she unwell? He's really concerned. ]

Hold me...

[ Why is he not. holding her. ]

[Julius hesitates to hold her at first, but then he does. His arms are shaking and he seems unsettled as well.

He didn't want her to know that..it's become obvious now though. They're both worried.]

[ It does explain a lot. She has to stroke his hair gently to try and calm him down.

This is why she can't really relax, not even now. [

I'm sorry....

[He's useless and she can't even rely on him when needed. Julius feels guilt for it. ]

It's okay.

[ She leans against him closely. This is enough. ]

[Julius holds her hand, shaking his head in regret. Why can't he be more useful when it's necessary?

It seems wrong.]
